Our Church

People have been worshipping God at Langdale Church since 1971.

Our History:

Since 1971 people have been meeting in Langdale Church to worship God, learn from the Bible and share the good news of Jesus with others.

It was initially born out of a small prayer group that met in Marina Drive which, as it grew, felt called to be a Christian presence on the new Laing Housing Estate.

Twelve years after the prayer group began, a new building was acquired as the home of what would later become Langdale Church with much assistance from Sir John Laing himself. From that day until this, Langdale Church has had its identity firmly rooted in being a light for Christ in the midst of our town.

Our Family:

Langdale is made up of all sorts of people from a variety of different backgrounds. What unites us is our love for Christ and our desire to make him known in our community.

We meet every Sunday morning at 10.30am for a service open to all the family.

Everyone is welcome to join us regardless of what you believe. We open our doors to all sorts of community activities during the week including Toddlers during term time. Come and say hello whenever you pass by.
