Our Vision

We believe that emphasis upon the following areas of church life is of central importance to ensure vitality within our church

A Worshipping Church

Our vision is to be a church where God is the focus of our attention, where God is at the centre of our activities, where obedience to God is at the top of our agenda, where God’s will is paramount in our planning, where God takes the glory; a church whose joy is in God and that brings him pleasure.

A Loving Church

We seek to be a church that views people, whether inside the church or outside, through God’s eyes, a church that puts people before property or programmes. We want to be a church that shows Christ’s compassion pastorally and that expresses care for others in practical ways. We want to be a church where God’s people love to meet together.

An Evangelising Church

We intend to be a church that takes the Great Commission seriously. That is, we want to see neighbours in our community of all ages, from young children to older friends, coming to faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and joining the church.

A Growing Church

Our aim is to promote true spiritual growth, that is, to be a church that is dedicated to discipleship. We don’t simply want to see new converts. We want to see transformed lives, people growing in likeness to our Lord Jesus Christ, becoming strengthened in their faith and going on to fulfil a useful role in the work of God. We want to develop Christian maturity and help God’s people live balanced lives: loving God loyally, passionately, intelligently and actively.
